This Week’s “Unsatisfactory-Rated” Restaurant Report: KFC on MLK in Merced

KFC (Jay & Stacey 261, Inc dba), located at  1616 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Merced, was listed as “unsatisfactory” during the restaurant’s latest Merced County Department of Environmental Health Food Inspection, dated Oct. 12, 2017.

The Health Dept. uses a scale of 1 to 13 points to determine the if a restaurant is in compliance (1-6=good, 7-13=satisfactory. KFC was knocked for 18 points. (Article continues below)

KFC has been listed Unsatisfactory in 4 out of its last 5 inspections, beginning on 6/21/16 (51 points), 8/4/2017 (17 points), 9/11/2017 (22 points), and 10/12/2017 (18 points).
