Buhach Colony Grad Aaron Cochran to Play Final College Game this Saturday

-Aaron Cochran, a 2012 Buhach Colony Thunder grad will play his final college football game this Saturday (before bowl game) for the #18 Oklahoma State Cowboys. An offensive tackle, he has had a distinguished career that spans from his days playing for the Thunder, then to Cal for the Bears and this season after he transferred to Oklahoma State.

On Facebook, his mother Nicole, left a heartfelt message: “Cant tell you what this means to us as a family. It’s the culmination of a long and winding journey. Wish my dad and Momma Gwendoyn Campbell was here to share it with us! Thank you to all who played a part, and you all did play a part, in making this possible. We have a really large family: it’s all of you and we love you all.”

His father, who nearly died in 2003 also left this message: “My son, is playing is last collegiate game Saturday. The senior day will be emotional for me. I lost my life in 2003 & God brought me back. To get 2 be on the field w/ him & his brother Matthew and his mom will be God fulfilling my request to see it.”

Aaron has a shot at playing beyond college, he is currently ranked #31 in the nation by www.nfldraftscout.com.
