Golden Valley High Alum nominated for Canadian Football League Sportsmanship Honor

Former Golden Valley High stand-out Chris Randle, now a star cornerback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, has been nominated for the Canadian Football League’s (CFL) prestigious Tom Pate award, which is given to the  player who ‘embodies the qualities that distinguished Tom Pate; qualities that recognize a player with outstanding sportsmanship, a player who has made a contribution to his team and well as to his community and to his Association.’

Randle was named the Bombers’ Most Outstanding Defensive Player just last week. Randle graduated from GVHS in 2007 and then played for Utah State.
