Oakland Raider Running Back Marshawn Lynch dodges questions on why he refuses to stand durning National Anthem

Marshawn Lynch artfully dodged the topic of sitting for the national anthem Thursday as the Raiders wrapped up their 2017 training camp.

Oakland Raider Head Coach Jack Del Rio said he talked to Marshawn who said it’s something he’s done for 11 years.  Oakland Raider Head coach Del Rio said, “it’s non issue.”

The NFL Commissioner Response “I think it’s one of those things where I think we have to understand that there are people who have different viewpoints,” Goodell said in response. “It’s something that I think everybody wants. The national anthem is a special moment to me. It’s a point of pride. That is a really important moment. But we also have to understand the other side that people do have rights and we want to respect those.”
