Climate Change March in Merced allows citizens to make their voices heard

On Saturday, April 29, several dozen citizen’s met at Courthouse Park for a Climate Change March to protest the current administration’s position on climate change. A rally was held beforehand with speakers addressing issues regarding renewable energy, healthcare, homelessness and other topics citizens were concerned about. People of all ages and types brought signs and joined chants, as they lined the M st. side of the park. Although a small march by comparison to others across the country, citizens were enthusiastic.
