On Saturday July 30, 2016, The Merced Police Department Gang Violence Suppression Unit Officers developed information that Jonathan Medeiros (28) had narcotics and firearms at his residence in Livingston CA. The Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) officers served a search warrant at his home located in the 1600 block of Grapevine Drive in Livingston. Upon serving the search warrant, GVSU officers located a shotgun, a semi-automatic handgun, a revolver, a hunting rifle, an extended handgun magazine, ammunition, a bullet proof vest, concentrated cannabis and 25 pounds of marijuana at his home. Medeiros was arrested and booked at the jail for possession of marijuana for sales, possession of concentrated cannabis, cultivation of marijuana, child abuse and weapons charges.
